About Us

Government Polytechnic Jamunia Deeh, Harakh, Barabanki, was established in 2017 under the Multi-Sectoral Development Programme (MSDP), a government initiative aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for minority communities. The institution operates under the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (BTE) and is affiliated with the AICTE.

This polytechnic offers diploma programs in Mechanical Engineering (Automobile), Electrical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering, promoting both technical education and entrepreneurship. Admission to the institute is based on the JEECUP entrance examination, and it provides opportunities for both regular and lateral entry students.

The campus aims to foster research, innovation, and skill development, contributing to the professional growth of its students while addressing the needs of local industries and society.
