Gyan Prakash serves as the Training & Placement Officer at Government Polytechnic, Jamunia Deeh, Harakh, Barabanki. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from MNNIT Allahabad (2008) and an M.Tech in Production & Industrial Engineering.

Gyan Prakash's industrial journey spans over a decade, with significant contributions to renowned organizations. He began his career at Gammon India Limited, where he specialized in hydraulic systems and stationary plant operations, working on critical infrastructure projects. His role included assembly and dismantling of major plant installations, such as crushers and concrete plants, and designing preventive maintenance plans to enhance operational efficiency.

Following this, he further advanced his expertise at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, where he spent six years contributing to Indian Naval Ship projects. His work involved ensuring the operational readiness of key naval assets and maintaining a diverse range of heavy machinery, including cranes, compressors, and CNC machines.

Gyan Prakash transitioned into academia, where he now blends his vast industrial experience with teaching, preparing students for real-world industry challenges. His extensive background in equipment maintenance, project execution, and industrial operations plays a pivotal role in his approach to Training & Placement, ensuring that students are not only academically proficient but also ready to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

In his current role, he focuses on skill development, industry collaborations, and placement drives, helping students transition smoothly from the classroom to professional environments. Through his guidance, students are empowered with the practical knowledge and confidence needed to excel in their future careers.
