Dr. Digvijay Shukla is a seasoned academic and researcher in the field of Mechanical Engineering, currently serving as a Lecturer at the Government Polytechnic Jamunia Deeh Harkh, Barabanki. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Fluid and Thermal Sciences from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, where he developed an innovative electro-hydrodynamic-based thin-film evaporative cooling system. His research expertise spans thermal management of electronics, active and passive cooling techniques, phase-change heat transfer, digital holographic interferometry, and electrospraying. Dr. Shukla has made significant contributions through his publications in reputed international journals and conferences. His technical skills include working with software like ANSYS Fluent, MATLAB, COMSOL Multiphysics, and experimental tools such as infrared thermography and high-speed imaging, Particle image velocimetry. He has also been awarded the Visvesvaraya Fellowship for his research efforts. In addition to academic publications, Dr. Shukla holds a patent for a hybrid cooling system utilizing electrospraying and ionic wind-based mechanisms, reflecting his strong commitment to the advancement of thermal management technologies. His work experience includes various teaching and research roles, including his tenure as a Graduate Research Scholar at KNIT Sultanpur and his doctoral research at IIT Kanpur under Prof. P.K. Panigrahi. With a focus on improving thermal management systems, particularly for electronic devices and battery thermal management, Dr. Shukla's innovative approaches and technical expertise make him a distinguished figure in his field.
